Illithid and Dwarven War

Military action

A conflict between the Illithids and Dwarves that lasted for 10 years. The Illithid population had diminished due to the slow growth rates of frost giants, and were looking towards the Dwarves as a new food source. The Dwarves wanted to claim the region for their own, and not only would it prove beneficial to remove these dangerous creatures from the land, but the mountain range would be the perfect place for a capital. The war ended with the Illithids luring the Bloodhammer clan deep underground, where they caused a cave in to separate them from remaining dwarves.
