Va Roccia is a city deep within the Underdark. The rock that the city is carved in is said to be so tough that magic was needed to carve it out. The city is dependent upon its mushroom farms for food, water, and "wood".
Wood is such a scarcity here they having things made out of wood from the surface is a sign of wealth and status.
