Mask Up! It's Hallowtide - 1/2/2022

General Summary

Start off on a boat heading off to Grovecaster.
Party sees and dragon off in the distance that is circling a sea monster. The sea monster gets closer to the ship and is attacked by a blue drag who shoots lightning at it. The dragon makes out a proclamation "Tributes must be made" and then fights off the sea monster.
Bagni spends time on the ship making sure her nice clothes are nice and fashioning a fishbone mask.

The group arrives at Grovecaster. and goes shopping for masks. Bagni manages to uptrade her mask. Cerberus follows a kid into an ally for a fancy wolf mask. The older kids try to jump him, but he wild shapes, scares them off, and gets the wolf mask. Lysander goes off to a mask maker that Mikodez knows and gets a specialty mask.
The party gets a dinner invitation from Aster's parents, Ashtoreth Caerus II and Lilith Caerus. They find out that the Cult has all of it's higher ups within the government of Grovcaster. They beat around the bush trying to find to where the party stands and come to an agreement that the Order of Loth is getting out of hand and Ashtoreth would like the Cult of Beshaba to be ready to cut ties with them or more. He reveals that he is unsure of the rest of the Cult's allegiance to the Order.
Ashtoreth agrees to work with the party, but asks that they do him a favor before the big meeting with the other Cult higher-ups. He knows for sure one member of the council is on his side, Dorian Ash (House Ash). He is unsure of the other 3 houses, House Havar, House Slate, and House Istow. He says if the party assassinated the heads of the other three houses he can assure that he can replace them with people loyal to him and his course, OR the party can try and find out where the other houses stand so he can go into the meeting fully prepared. The party can find out by going through the offices of the heads of houses to see if they have anything that showed their allegiance.
