The Yggaron - Lindworm

The Yggaron is quite a sneaky creature. It has to be to survive on Altuis as non-flying dragon species.
This lovely beast called Lindy or Snek among the community is planned to be able to dig burrows to hide and possibly kinda fast travel.

Basic Information

Creature Design

This dragon species is the smalles at the main species. They have very long and slim bodies, giving their community nickname "Snake" and so on. Their tailtips are either just as slim or have different attachments like clubs or "spidertails" (concept).
The arms and hands are rather flat and remind one of mole hands, making them great diggin tools and very bad weapons. Yggaron have small wings, which are not strong enough to fly or glide and might have no purpose other than displaying great colors and make the beast look a bit bigger to a potential predator.
Different horns and spikes crown their head and body and some Yggaron have a colorful crest down their neck.

Like the Vodros, Yggaron are undergoing a full remake with a new model, new skins, even new sounds.
Their remake has only concepts so far, work on the new model will start when the new Vodros model has been finished.

Abilities & elemental Powers

Yggaron are poisonous and do not hesitate to spit their danger juice right into someones eyes to protect themselves.

A side effect of that currently is an eye burning bubble glow which emits from their unfortunate prey and blinds everyone around it. So we can be asured this is a very effective defense!

Habitats & prefered Regions

Yggaron are vulnerable and an easy prey, so they'll sneak around to stay save while still being a deadly opponent. They live in caves and canyons most of the time as these areas provide perfect hiding spots for safety and to ambush poor unfortunate souls.

Social Structure

We have an intersting bit of information about Yggaron and their young from a villagers note.
It mentions 2 young Yggaron being attacked until their mother comes to resque. This lets us believe that at least female Yggaron take care of their offsprings to a certain degree, maybe until they are able to fetch for themselves.
As mentioned above, they do dig their own burrows, leading to tunnel systems which allow Yggaron to reach different places even in uneasy terrain in no time.

Funfact: Yggaron are the first playable non-flying creature and even saw Larimara, the first map!
