Admiral of the Ocean Sea

As the Sealands of Avelorn are basicly a pirate port made good, the leadership traditions of pirates were adopted by the nation. The ruler of the Sealand is an elected position. A new Admiral of the Ocean Sea is elected by a meeting of all the Lords/Ship Captains of Avelorn (in the Sealands one must own a ship to maintain noble status) who select one of their own for the position with a majority vote needed to claim the title. The rank is held for life, but should an Admiral prove foolish or incompitent, the Sealand nobles can cast them out on a 2/3rd vote of all captains.
