Mayor of Halfcross (a.k.a. Uncle Will)

While the Mayorship of Halfcross is technically a position up for election every four years, Millbrook has won by a landslide in the last 8 contests, 5 of which were unopposed. Wildly popular for his common sense policies, personable nature, and having the support of Lady Cuppria, most halflings will refer to him as their “Uncle Will.” Though now in year 31 as Mayor, with many adult constituents having only known him as their leader, and more gray hairs than not anymore he’s becoming more and more “Grandpa Will.” There are some who have begun to question his leadership not because they take issue with his character, but for a combination of his advancing age and the growing danger on the horizon. A movement toward militarization is brewing among the younger halflings, as is the idea that a younger leader will be needed to marshall them through the conflict they see as inevitable.
