Anatomy

Dull green or brown scales and hypnotic, yellow eyes, they are truly the stuff of nightmares. Their bite contains a venom that paralyzes the muscles, after which they wrap their immobilized victim in their innumerable coils and squeeze the life out of them. This is how the nickname “death’s embrace” was created. They will eat literally anything they can wrap their unhinging jaws around. Able to navigate branches of ancient trees or swim with shocking stealth and speed, they silently approach their prey until they are in range to lash out and strike.
