Tarrasques
Terrors second only to the mighty Behemoth, titanic tarrasques are seen as city destroyers when they erupt from the earth. These “Sons of Behemoth” stand fifty feet tall and over seventy feet long, and weigh well over one hundred tons. Their long horns, sharp claws, and broad back plates are made of diamond- hard crystals. They bury themselves deep below ground and sleep for centuries, emerging when hunger presses them to feed. They gorge themselves for a day or so before returning to the depths. Killing one would reap enough treasures for a whole troop of hunters to retire, if they managed to survive the attempt.
