Sea Monsters

The earth and sky have more than their fair share of dangers, but it is perhaps the deep seas which house the worst of the worst. Sailors’ tales are generally to be taken with a grain of the salt staining their clothes, but in compiling stories from enough sources, one can piece together a consistent picture. Some of these creatures pose a danger to small fishing boats or swimmers, while others are more than capable of taking down trade cogs and naval frigates.
