Sometimes one does not know their true calling until it presents itself. Ryka was always a talented hunter and tracker of both man and beast. She joined up with the Earthbound Hunters over a century ago as a bounty hunter. While she took contracts finding criminals and debtors, her preferred jobs were finding lost children and loved ones. Bringing violent offenders to justice was fine, but the look in a mother’s eyes when she sees a child she feared dead was worth more than the coin reward. So it was that the demise of the Sunwood precipitated Ryka’s most important role in her life: reuniting high elf families separated by the fall.
