Prince of Bluespire (a.k.a. The Wind Knight)
One glance at Prince Tyrek’s unnaturally blue eyes and highlights quickly betrays his aasimar lineage. The powerful Stillwater family, dynastic lords of Bluespire, style themselves as princes and princesses to denote their sense of elevated status above other noble houses. They maintain that their holy bloodline makes them something more than their neighbors. It likely does not help that after Silverspire, Bluespire is the largest and wealthiest city in the Empire. Living up to expectations, the young prince is handsome, charming, and skilled with both spell and sword. It was then seen as a significant slight when he was passed over as a young child for being paired with a silver dragon. Rumors swirled at the time that his parents even petitioned Aurilex to grant him a gold dragon, promising to pay tribute to him in exchange. But if this did actually occur they were turned down again. Instead Tyrek was raised to be an exceptional griffin rider. He is a maverick in the air, pushing his mounts to fly fast, bank hard, and wheel with reckless abandon. More than once he has leapt from the back of his griffin and utilized his innate magical abilities to pull off attacks few others could even dream of, let alone attempt. His uniquely fast and aggressive flying style has earned him the nickname the Wind Knight. Tyrek certainly seems poised to be the next ruling Prince of Bluespire, but some question whether the mundanity of rulership can mesh with his brash personality.
