Orobious
(a.k.a. Morningstar)
One of, if not the youngest dragons alive, Orobious has had the unusual experience of spending nearly all of his life with his rider. The kind of relationship usually reserved for like the likes of elves, Orobious and Frida Ironhide are exceptionally close, even for a dragon and rider. They spend every day together, primarily in training. They spar, with Orobious adopting the form of a gold-clad knight, study histories, warcraft, and statecraft. But they also find time each day to fly. Most dwarves balk at the idea of their feet leaving solid ground, but with Orobious Frida is an aerial predator. Together they hunt deer and boar with bow, javelin, and axe, bringing the spoils home to share with the citizenry. But they both know it is really just training for the day when they are allowed to take wing for real and fly combat missions for Orobious' father.
