Oathbreaker

This darkiron longsword is inlaid with runes which flicker and glow ominously, almost like candles. The rest of the blade is jet black, seeming to almost sap the light from around it. Darkiron weapons are highly coveted and hold enchantments exceedingly well. There were certainly fell magics infused in this weapon's creation.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Once attuned, this magical longsword grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls and deals an additional 1d4 Fire damage on a hit. An attuned wielder has the following spells added to their spell list: Green Flame Blade and Flame Blade. The wielder may cast Flame Blade on this weapon once without expending a spell slot, if they do they cannot do so again until they finish a long rest. When the wielder casts Flame Blade using this ability, it does not require the user's concentration. The wielder may also cast these spells using normal spell slots.
