Sage of Fire (a.k.a. The Smouldering Sage)
The faelene sage of fire, he preaches a message similar to that of the Church of Conflagration, that fire is a cleanser upon the natural world, resetting an environment when things progress out of balance. Fire destroys, but it also cleans the slate for new life to emerge. However, rather than seeking out the destruction of the natural world, the Smouldering Sage and his followers are more focused on cultivating the next generation from the ashes of natural disasters when they occur of their own accord.
Making his home in what has come to be called the Cursed Jungle, Kyrrah made the uncommon choice not to support Viridia’s invasion and the deposition of the high elves. When Sunsong stood as an independent nation, free of the yoke of any Elder Dragon, its elven lords were extremely tolerant of Kyrrah’s preachings. The standard atheism of the Six Sages did not trouble elves, in fact they found the notion rather interesting and worthy of study and debate. However this was not the case under the rule of the jungle’s new mistress. Now denial of the green dragon’s godhood is a crime punishable only in ways found in her cruel domain. As of yet the Smouldering Sage has not declared openly for the Rebel Rose and her Setting Sun freedom fighters, but rumor has it his followers do harbor some of them in their villages deep in the darkest reaches of the jungle.
