Frida Ironhide
(a.k.a. Longaxe)
Dwarves do not typically take well to flying. While other groups have adopted flying mounts to try to keep pace with the great dragon riders, the dwarves of the Morningold Mountains mostly opted to stand on the ground and ride owlbears. Not true for Frida Ironhide. The grand daughter of the Archbishop of Aurillex's Golden Church spent much of her childhood around the Elder Dragon, mostly in his humanoid form called the Sage. The dragon god took a liking to the fiesty young girl, assigning her to feed his hatchling, Oroboius. The two grew up together and eventually made a natural pair as dragon and rider.
Oroboius is still quite young by dragon standards, but so long as Frida eschews the traditional heavy dwarven platemail of her people in favor of something like a breastplate, he is more than capable of carrying her. They still call the Goldencrest Basilica home, flying between the high mountain peaks daily. Both long for a taste of true combat, but have been deemed too young and ill prepared to see a proper battle as of yet.
