Earl of Breaking Pointe (a.k.a. Shipbreaker)
Cousins to the Pointes of Silverspire, this branch of the family serves as Earls of Breaking Pointe. Subservient to the Hornes of Softsong, they are nonetheless defacto rulers of The Break and one of the first lines of defense against Norinian raiders. Solon "Shipbreaker" is a soldier first and a nobleman second, much more comfortable in steel than silks. Now an old man, his sword arm may not be as strong as it once was, but his mind is just as sharp. Still, since his wife's death to a fever and his son's at the hands of Thal reavers, the issue of succession is very much in question. The old warrior will not live forever, and someone must rule after his passing.
