Dean Rodrigue Portwright

Dean of the Lords College (a.k.a. The Ledger Lord)

Born the second son of minor noble house, Dean Rodrigue and his brother Clemont have done a great deal to raise their family status in their lifetimes. The Dean personally teaches on the nuances of business logistics and administration, but his primary role is as administrator for the Lords College. As such he decides who he admits into his school, and what courses they get into each semester. Here is where his logistical mind really comes to the forefront, and he selects whom to put where and when. Some have suggested he gives preferential treatment to House Portwright and its allies and works to promote their interests by fostering relationships with other houses of prominence. However academic scheduling is such a nuanced, arcane endeavor that it is next to impossible to prove such accusations are anything more than sour grapes about not getting into the seminar one wanted. And given the stellar track record of his former students, it is hard to argue that Rodrigue is not an excellent educator.
