Sector A monitoring room
Entry #006
Each sector has its dedicated monitoring room on the lowest floor. It is a large room with over a thousand screens of various sizes, spying on all corners of its assigned area. Sector A has between 55 and 434 cameras on each floor, mostly in public areas and sometimes even in private buildings. Even if the prison administration seldom intervenes in inmates' matters, it is best to keep an eye out in case of a mutiny or non-throwing accidents.
Seven people are tasked to watch the feeds all day and raise warnings or alarms when something unusual is detected. Their job is complemented by the General Monitoring Intelligence which survey every single camera at once, making the watchers redundant observers benefitting of one of the most easy jobs aboard.
