Salimen

Overview

Language of the Gendirlo, specialized to be pronounceable by all Gendirlo though with various accents. Contains sounds impossible to create by humans including animalistic sounds. Salimen's written system is designed to be simple to write through scratching with a claw or talon.

History

Nearly 5000 years ago, the newly evolved Coloktialo combined the many languages the older Gendirlo species spoke and created a new language that all could speak and understand. It quickly became popular and was adopted by all of the species.
Over 2100 years ago, following the events of the Age of Cooperation and the forced extinction of the conquesting Hahklemem Gendirlo, the Coloktialo developed a new system of writing Salimen that was accessible to all Gendirlo.
