Klouktalo

Overview

Network of conjurers able to send messages to other member conjurers. Two networks exist, though communication can occur between them: Sawta and Innen. The Klouktalo Sawta focuses on general communications for settlements and the military. The Klouktalo Innen focuses on communication between Innen stations.

History

Early Innena were the primary message carriers in the early post Gendirl war Dosjorya. However, there was a risk that important messages would not arrive to their destinations. Early conjurers experimented with their powers, trying to find their limits as well as the limits of magic in service to society. After a few generations, two conjurers discovered how to send a message to each other, sent as pulses of magic directed at a particular individual. Their experiments showed that distance did not matter for the success of the transmission.
As the process of sending such a message was easy to understand, conjurers not specialized in mental spells realized they can also send messages to other conjurers, and gradually they developed a system that could allow for messages to be sent anywhere there is a receiving conjurer. As the messages they sent were comprised of pulses of magic, conjurers learned to associate certain patterns as letters, leading to error free communication.
