Asa

Asa (a.k.a. The Collector of Souls)

Asa is the Goddess of Death. She is portrayed as an unsmiling woman with bone white skin, raven wings and red eyes. The people of Dorwine do not believe that she represents evil per se, rather the finality of death. It is Asa who comes for the souls of the dead and carries them away from their mortal forms. 
Although she is believed to be relentless and dispassionate Asa, from time to time, does show mercy to mortals and it is this mercy that allows clerics to resurrect the dead. She is a jealous goddess, however, and has little time for those who dabble in necromancy. Asa is a sworn enemy of those who cheat her through undeath.
