Malthalais is a grumpy old White Howler who's long life is attributed to being blessed by Wyld. He lives in hiding among a small Incan Caern in North West Brazilian awaiting the day he is eaten by Oblivion during the occurrence of one of the Great Maelstroms to come.
His opinion is all the Tribes reject, shun, and banish him and his White Howler brethren because of their actions on the day their Tribe became extinct. He believes that White Howlers should remain dead, but a new fighting force must be created ready to fight the Wyrm that day in the future when the world would otherwise end.
