Ossisphere mushroom stew Tradition / Ritual in Domu | World Anvil

Ossisphere mushroom stew

This is the Dwellers national dish.   The Dwellers live in the barren land of the Great desert. Their city Infrarena (built under some parts of their old city, Inferba) is an underground labyrinth-like series of dwellings and tunnels that goes deep underground.   The barren landscape of the desert allows for little to no cropland, and farming above ground is almost impossible. The only thing Dwellers farm in the harsh landscape above ground is the Pricklebush, a plant that grows a fruit that has come to have a lot of uses.   Underground they farm insects, like the Ossispheres and mushrooms like the Scaly Pincap.
