Vallaki Square/stockade

The Vallaki Squre is a location where several streets converge to a small group of local shops and storefronts. There is a central fountain which is the primary source of safe drinking water in the town. On the north end are situated multiple rows of stocks and a central gallows where public humiliations or punishment is meted out to those guity of malicious unhappiness.
Roake voluntarily entered the stocks at the square on the day of the Festival of the Burning Sun to attempt to deceive the Wachter Cult of their alignment to the cause to provide more concrete proof to Burgomaster Vargas Vallakovich. The Wachter coup began and the party found themselves defending themselves and the Vallakovich family against a swell of cultists from the crowd.
