The Werewolf Den

The Werewolf Den is located in the north western area of the Valley of Barovia hidden in the foothills of the Baratok Mountains to the north east of Krezk. The werewolves of the den have the secret to controlling the strain of Lycanthropy Krysis suffers from.

Since their arrival in Barovia the Golden Seven have heard rumors of werewolf attacks in the regions of the village Krezk as early as their time in village of Barovia and the Tser Pool VIstani camp. The Silvered Six were overtaken by the fog while hunting werewolves and according to their logbook had arrived in Barovia in the Krezk region.

The party located the Werewolf Den after being refused entry to the Village Krezk due to having unknowningly killed civilans from Krezk who had managed to capture and beat a werewolf tied to a tree. The party tracked what appeared to be a werewolf who had been noticed by Tempeste while the party attempted to negotiate entry to Krezk.

Upon arival at the Werewolf Den the pack identified Krysis as a lycanthrope and allowed entry promising the party safety as long as they relinquished their weapons in the store area of the cave. The party met several of the pack discovering a rift in the leadership of the pack. The former leader of the pack Emil was driven out by the current leader Kiril.

The party was able to discover the required ritual for Krysis to take the first steps towards controlling Lycanthropy involving challenging a member of the pack to single combat, subdueing them, making an offering of their blooed at the altar of Mothernight, and drinking from the bowl.

The party participated in a raid on the village Krezk with the wolfpack to secure food, supplies, and prospective new pack members.
