Indirovich was dead by the time the party arrived in Barovia. Ismark indicated the stress of the Burgomaster office had lead to his death. Indirovich has been attempting to investigate a string of disappearances going back roughly a year once per week. Ultimately he died of a heart attack one night over the stress while zombies and wolves scratched at the doors and walls of the Burgomaster Mansion.
