Jadiwl Wing

Jadiwl Wings are horned birds, with curved horns facing towards their faces. They appear heavy but are hollow, with the bones being as thin as their wings. They are mostly for show, as they can break if they attempt to use them offensively. They are only used offensively in dire situations. Their mating ritual includes a showing of the horns, and the males will mock play, usually without actually banging their horns.
In fact, Jadiwl Wing's favorite prey, it would seem, will be the Grintongue Rattel. They have specifically mutated to be able to bypass the defenses of the rattels and their toxins.

It was only recently that Jadiwl Wings have been researched to see a start in a new gene that mutates an extra enzyme that breaks down certain poisons, namely one from the Deadtongue Peppers. This makes them a formidable predator to monsters like Grintongue Rattel, those that depend on the pepper for defense.
They have started to overhunt the rattels, and more rattel farms are forming, especially for the special Grintongue Rattel.
