Drakmuth Sleepover in 2GY
Trying to prove their turnover leaf, Dilefir A Drakmuth invites the children of the village to have a dinner at her tiny room for her son on Boridin Row.
Some neighbors, like the Wohartner boy, 13, Hidminten boy, 14, Nuntrench girl, 12, and even those of higher status, like the Wodwerd girl, 13, and Framarch girl, 13, were there. By some random event, even the Tenfolk boy, 10, all the way in Datarn Ver was dropped off by way of the Path Wheelers. Something about parents overheard, and wanted their boy to get more friends as they say the boys more often. A little worried on when to bring him back, she couldn't send him alone, so she let the tiny boy stay.
Arms crossed, Dilefir waits outside for the children to arrive.
Weringal A Drakmuth
was excited to see his friends, but surprised some new faces, Marbegit Of Hidminten and even Didrit Of Framarch, who wouldn't talk to him much, were there. Nonetheless, he had fun,. talking the night away, playing hijinks, on the new Marbegit of all of them, and enjoying a nice smoked Liltdre Beak stew in the community firepit.
Weringal tells his mother he missed living near others, and dealing with customers as much, and while Dilefir tries to promise him they'll split time equally between Kifore Path and the Rows, she can't bring herself to promise it.
Her other two sons lived here, and while they were gone working elsewhere, she wasn't sure she could handle losing Weringal to them. She ends up telling them to go to sleep early, with only a few sneaking of soup afterwards.
She sits quietly on the bench outside the mainhouse, stirring her own cold soup, making sure the crowded children stay still.
What was she to do.
The second gathering happens, and the nieghborhood children excitedly throw open their doors. They laughed and talked about the last sleepover, the good food and fun stroies they made up.
A bit rushed this time, Dilefir didn't cook on the day (as someone had actually stolen her paper recipe) and she decided to cook at Kifore Path. She did try a new recipe as well, using the best meat she got from her new hunting skill.
When it came time to eat, the children seemed to avoid the food, and kept talking about the soup she made last time. A bit stressed at the demands of these little children, she told them to not be too loud as she was heading to bed. They still seem to having fun, maybe a bit too much poking at her. Not used to this phenomenom, as she was a feared public figure to their parents, she was needing a good time out, and had a small but exhausted smile on her face as she slept that night.
