A Blue Tinge of Tongue

Upon eating the peppers, the rattles bodies form a toxin, which lasts for up to two hours. Their breath is also an irritant to themselves, turning them blue, and they will walk around with their tongue out too cool off.
Grintongue Rattel are known infamously for their distinct blue tongue and milky eyes. They are tiny, but aggressive creatures. Named after their blue tongues, it is not a fun sight to see.   If their tongue is tucked into their mouth, and eyes are large and black with no sheen, well, you've got less to worry about. A normal bite from a normal rattel, but once they take a bite of that tiny pepper with their tiny mouths, blue tongue it is.
