Spiritual

Spiritual Is the same as “qi” or “life energy”. A force that encompasses all lifeforms that has its origin in the creation. Things that are described as spiritual are powered by “qi” or “life energy” or are connected to it in some way.
  Spiritual Vestige
The spiritual vestige is the first trace of a central point where the “qi” or “life energy” can be found. This is not in a material location but a metaphysical concept. A spiritual vestige gathering energy from “Will”, “Thoughts”, “Emotion”.

This is possible even without it being their own, “Will”, “Thoughts”, “Emotion” as long as they are the target of one of these they can grow their vestige into a spiritual soul.

It is believed by some academics that the gods use spiritual vestige in the machinations of manifesting holy power to clerics and divine casters.
  Spiritual Soul
The spiritual soul is a subconscious that was created by the “Will”, “Thoughts”, “Emotion”. Some animals have achieved such strong spiritual souls that they achieve a form of natural awakening similar to the spell named “Awaken” that changes the “spiritual soul” into a “mortal soul”.

However a few instead throw away their mortal shell and continue to exist as spirits. As long as they still given the energy necessary to fuel their soul they can exist without a body.

These entities are referred to as primordial spirits and if granted enough energy can even archive deity statues. Most barbarian totems are ancient spirits that continue to exist by belief and worship by stories about them.

This however is unique for spiritual souls as they don't have an original ego and was from the start not a sapient entity that could achieve self awareness. As such the identity and personality is totally up to what is believed about them.
