Goven City Council

The Goven City Council is the governing body of the city of New Goven . The council is comprised of nine individuals serving lifetime positions; eight councilors are elected by taxpaying citizens of New Goven, while the High Councilor seat is always filled by the Goven Merchants' Guild Merchant Guildmaster, who is elected by members of the guild and ratified by the King Regent of the Quorel'hrim Kingdom. Councilors may only be removed by proclamation of the King Regent or a two-thirds vote of no confidence by the rest of the council.
The current High Councilor is Bellas Ma'Culuina, and other council members include Kazsithsyn'saropheles.
