Weatherman

/*Haroldson*/

(a.k.a. Weatherman)

Weatherman is a U.S. American Rogue currently active in Cape St. Joan. He is a member of The Crew.

Physical Description

Special abilities

Weatherman possesses the ability to influence the weather around him both on a local and an extremely small positional scale. As such, everything from calling forth rainstorms upon the town down to creating indoor thunderstorm clouds are a possibility. He further possesses control over aspects of the weather he creates. He can, for example, determine the direction of gusts of wind, call down lightning strikes or use breaks in the clouds to blind his opponents momentarily. However, the degree of this control diminishes quickly the further away the event is to occur from him, making him only dangerous at medium range.

Apparel & Accessories

Weatherman's costume consists of a red raincoat and dark rain paints. He covers his face with a tragedian mask and is usually seen wielding a tinker-made umbrella that allows him to interact further with some of his powers, such as the ability to call forth lightning strikes.

Personal history

First sighted in Cape St. Joan in 2002, it has been speculated [by whom?] that Weatherman might have been a resident of the town for much longer prior to this point. In particular, the long rainfalls in Spring 1996 and various storms in the subsequent years that some have deemed "stronger than usual" in retrospect have been speculated to have been the doing of the then young super slowly discovering his powers. However, no credible link between the man and said weather phenomenon could ever be established.   Weatherman's first reported crime occured in 2007, prior to which he had been deemed an Independent and had collaborated with local farmers in exchange for a fee. After accusations from environmental activists and critics of super-employment in general attempted to link him to droughts occuring in the northern regions of California and suggesting his interventions disrupted the natural weather cycle, he instead took to crime to pay his expenses.   2009 he was recruited into The Crew.   He participated in the hunt on Jane Doe in 2018.   In 2023, following the Battle in Wallace Street against members of Soma's Network and Disequilibria, he was arrested by the authorities and incarcerated at Port Joan High Risk Detainment Center.
