Los Angeles

Los Angeles, simply called L.A. and officially known as the City of Los Angeles, is the largets city of the U.S. state of California and the second largest city in the country behind New York City. Known for its entertainment industry simply referred to as Hollywood (named after the neighbourhood of Hollywood Hills) it is one of the most culturally influential cities not only in the U.S., but worldwide. It is also home to the Sunset Circle, a team of sanctioned supers operating from the Angels' Perch.

In addition to being the most populous city on the West Coast, Los Angeles also has one of the highest per-capita number of Supers operating (and presumably living) within the city, rivaled only by New York City and Washington, D.C..
