He is the adoptive father of five children, including Samantha.

Franklin's receeding hairline is turning grey, a fact that he tries to combat with dye that sadly is almost always ever so slightly noticeable as such. With a friendly, round face and deep voice, her one day has a great future as a storytelling grandpa ahead of himself. His ears slightly protrude from the head.

Personal history

Franklin was born and raised in California. After graduating, he started working for one of the local banks. At age 26, he married his childhood sweetheart Bethany. After multiple attempts to have children, the two were faced with the sad truth that Bethany was barren and the two would never have biological children. Instead, they adopted a son, Aaron.
Franklin was eventually promoted to a manager position in Cape St. Joan, where the family settled down and subsequently adopted two more daughter, Samantha and Abigail.
Franklin continued to work hard to support his family and afford them a comfortable life. However, in taking care of their children, they had now reached their limited and they decided against further adoptions.
This changed when terrorist Jane Doe ran rampant in Cape St. Joan, culminating in "D-Day" that left multiple children orphaned. In the following months, the two decided to adopt two more children, Yamila and Hector. While done with the best intentions, the quality of care for each of them suffered as a result, as he and his wife now had to split their attentions between too many children, all while having to account for the significantly younger newest two additions to the family.
While things have quieted down a bit since, their situation hasn't neccessarily improved either.

Intellectual Characteristics

Franklin is a kind, but correct man. Never one to shout, he still demands respect in a quiet, but forceful way. While a caring father, he is very focused on his work, creating more distance between him and his adopted children than would perhaps be advised.
