East Park

East Park is a large urban park in the middle of Cape St. Joan. It is located between Downtown, The Block, St. Joan Beach and Merchant Town.
Next to a small forest, large meadows and many other common park elements, it is also home to the D-Day Memorial Site.

History

Built as a recreational area in the late 50s, back then still at the edge of the city. Has since become encircled to all sides.
During "D-Day", Jane Doe detonated one of her largest bombs in one of the designated evacuation areas within the park limits. A memorial was later erected at the site of the explosion.
