Session 4

General Summary

After a brutal run-in with ominous cupcakes/animate sacks of corrupt flesh, the party makes a desperate charge to entrance of the Caramel Caverns. Pausing at the threshold, Lilliana turns back towards the stairs you climbed. "We'll come back for you!" shouts the Cleric. "Urrrrrrrgh!" comes the distant reply from the Marquis de Franfkfurt at the base of the mountain. Grazyna pokes her head into the tunnel. "Hellloooo! Ellloo! Lo!" The call echoes strangely inside the dark tunnel.
Stepping in, you see the walls and floor are too smooth to have been made from tools. They seem somehow more organic. Renato runs a finger along the wall. "It does not seem to be alive. We should proceed." The surfaces within are almost mirror smooth in places and formed of shards of hard candy. You see a premium lager dripping from the ceiling, and running down the walls in places.
Zima brings up the rear, brushing off crumbs of cake and wiping away the buttercream icing smeared across their previously immaculate clothing. Zima and Renato refer to their maps. Zima is worried they are in the wrong place. Renato is adamant the they are in the "Candy Caverns" and that the "Kronenbourg Caverns" are but a figment of Zima's overactive imagination.
There are no torches or windows, and Graz takes a moment to retrieve her lamp from her pack.
Suddenly, you hear a noise. A tapping noise from up ahead.
