Colour Knights of Akrose

As the light of the Sun can be split into a rainbow, so is the Akrosian military divided into 6 orders. Each order is led by a Colour Knight. These fearsome warriors are completely loyal to the King and the Kingdom, and each lead a host of a thousand well armed and well trained fighters. The orders are identified by the coloured cloaks they wear.   The commanders of the armies of Akrose, the defenders of the King's peace, and the scourge of Goblin-kind. The Colour Knights are selected for their strategic and tactical prowess, courage in battle, and loyalty to the Crystal Throne.     The King, cloaked in White, represents the unity and focus of the Kingdom of Akrose. To support them and to protet the realm, the Knights of the Order of the Prism (colloquially known as the Colour Knights) manage military matters and occasional diplomatic missions. Each knight commands an army of troops recruited from the citizenry. Each army contains mixed troops, but tends to favour the methods, arms, and tactics of their commander.
  • Sir Morholt The Red – Bezerker type. Loves drinking, fighting, and banter. Half Dwarf, half Human. Short, old. Doesn't wear much armour. Has a big axe. Hair is shaved at the sides and the top falls to his waist, as does his beard.
  • Sir Gareth The Orange - Sly and cunning. Regarded with suspicion and sometimes hostility by the other knights due to his frequent suggestions of dishonorable tactics.
  • Sir Margot The Yellow – Fun loving and outgoing. Loves Aruman like a brother and will do anything to see him safe. Has had to work harder than the others to earn their cloak due to the beloef women are less capable warriors.
  • Sir Segurd The Green – Loyal and valiant. Values honour and justice above all. Is incapable of refusing a direct challenge or ignoring an insult.
  • Sir Lucan The Blue – Chaste, gallant, innocent. The youngest of the Knight Commanders, Lucan seeks to prove himself worthy of his title and of his King's trust.
  • Sir Boros The Violet - Logical and aloof. Spends most of their time concerned with the logistical challenges of the kingdom. Thinks combat and war a waste of resources.
