Chapter 18: The Seige on Ky-Drizik Part I

General Summary

They wake up in their new house carriage. A Follower of Galaxa knocks on their door. He is a 11 year old full-blooded drow named Rizoyn Eilsrahel. Rizoyn tells them that Galaxa has prepared their Astral forms.
Sycamore sleeps through this whole thing.
In Galaxa's tent, they have created chairs for each of the Kings of Leon.
Ryuk and Budrash send Rizoyn to go wake up Sycamore.
Galaxa presents them with a TETHERED BAG.
Galaxa will not be able to speak with the kings as their focus will be to continue the projection.
RULES OF ASTRAL PROJECTION
They can only bring and take back one object with Galaxa's Tethered Bag
Magical Items will not be magic in the Astral Projected forms.
Astral Projected copies are perfect copies of the person down to HP but tied together with a small string of light that comes from the back. The String has an AC of 10 and and HP of 1. It will only be severed if an enemy willingly attacks it. If the tie is severed, the soul will be reterned to the original body.
Before they leave, Uul checks his bag of secrets and finds out Tolthe has done some drugs in his life.
When shot into Astral Space, they must come in contact with their Astral Bodies with an ACROBATICS check to hit and an ATHLETICS check.

Once everyone is projected, they arrive in the armory.
Budrash misses his astral projected form and enters the mind of a Ky student, Ky-Kyu who snuck out in the middle of the night to retreave her family's dagger.
In the mind space, Budrash and Ky-Kyu have a confrontation where they realize they are both trapped in the space they are in and Ky-Kyu begrudgingly asks Budrash to work together. When they shake hands, Budrash wakes up in control of Ky-Kyu's body.
After a small amount of confusion, the gang recognizes Ky-Kyu as Budrash.
They retreave the Family Dagger by smashing the chest, open Galaxa's bag to find a rough map of the school, and jury rig all of the room's doors so they can only be opened one at a time from the Armory.
They first go towards the dormitory, but when they realize that the area that they are in are sleeping quarters for the Ky children, they just lock the doors from the outside and double back into the Armory.
Next, they move West, entering a room that smelled of sulfer and contained 2 Ky who they promptly kill.
They move through the dining room, Uul reminesces on the food he ate as a child, before they sneak into the Prison Room where a Ky soldier watches over a group of prisoners from the Phy shipping company. Uul casts sleep on the Ky, and the rest of the Kings of Leon enter the room, Ryuk handing out his portraits to everyone in the room except for the leader of the prisoners, Phyialia, who refuses. Phyialia tells the group that the Tiefling in the prison with them, Vall, sold them out to Hobgoblins, but even he was double crossed. 4-Chains unshackles all of the prisoners except Vall nd Uul threatens Vall with his life, or his tongue. Vall offers his tongue and Uul cuts it off. Ryuk takes 4-Chains' heavy crossbow and tries to shoot the sleeping Ky, but fails, 4 chains successfuly shoots and kills the Ky as Ryuk holds up his rejected painting and gets blood splattered all over it. Phyialia accepts it now.
Phyialia tells the Kings about where the exit is and that if they clear the way for them to escape, she'll disclose some secrets to them, the first was pointing out a secret doorway in the sulfur smelling room, revealing Ky-Chu's invention of Dynamic-Matter.
Before they move to clear the enterence, they check a closet to find a chubbby Ky-student eating reserve food. Uul threatens him, pretending to be a Ky administrator, telling him to stay put and eat the slop silently.
As they took on the wing that lead to the enterence, the kings barged into the barracks room, Uul kicking the door open and waking up 6 sleeping ky then casting grease. As soon as the door opened, Ryuk released 1000 ball bearings on the ground and shot a flaming crowsbow bolt into the room, setting the Ky ablaze. As the Ky tried to get up to fight, one slipped and killed himself by smacking his head on a table. The Kings stayed in the doorway, launching firebolts and spells towards any Ky that got close to them, with exception of one Hobgoblin who managed to cast a spell just before Budrash slit his wrists.
All this noise caused 2 more Ky to appear from the entrance of the school, but they were promptly killed by the group.
As Phyialia and her group left the School, she warns the group of The Monster that lives in the school and scares all of the children.
The Kings return to the armory and make their way north where they encounter the Poison Zoo. 4-Chains snipes and immediately kills a Ky poking at a large cage.
The Kings proceed to approach that cage and notice a Gorbarian Tremble Cobra is inside, awake. Ryuk convinces the Cobra to not attack the kings if they release it and for it to go in the wing of the school that they are not, killing any Ky it sees. the Cobra slithers out and Uul casts enlarge on the snake as it leaves.
The Kings release the rest of the creatures, including a shapeshifter Quasit. The only animal left in a cage is a large bottle of black ooze that Uul believes is Hobgoblin's Promise. When Uul opens the jar, Black Pudding comes out and starts attacking the group. After this battle, Ky-uul and Ryuk's armor are perminently damaged.
They move north and enter the library, where they find a book called "The Art of Magic Detection. Uul and Budrash learn the Detect Magic spell.
They move further north and pass through the poison garden to Ky-Chu's lab.
Ky-Chu welcomes them in, trying to recognize Ky-Uul in his disguise. Uul hands Chu a stick of lit dynamite, but Chu casts create water before it expolodes. Chu casts Cloud Kill on all of the Kings, inflicting the Hobgoblin's promise on all of them. Chu focuses most of his attacks on Uul, trying to figure out who he is. Uul casts flight on 4-Chains who eventually gets knocked mid air. Ryuk gets set on fire by Chu and grabs a random vial from Chu's laboritory, dousing himself and turning him into a slime. Uul stabs Chu through the chest and wraps a rope around the hilt, then throws the rope to the revived 4-Chains who flies and pulls the sword, dislodging it and killing Chu when he hits Chu with a crossbow bolt to the chest.
As Chu dies, he recognizes Uul, telling him that they've fought before and that the fight brought back his memory. He refers to Uul as Vul and calls him the Brainwasher.

Ky-Kyu is confused about things now but will now err on the side of the Ky.
