Troll Heart Amulet

Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)
This amulet contains the crystallized form of a troll heart. While wearing & attuned to this amulet, you may spend an action to activate it. For the next minute, you regain 10 hp at the start of your turn so long as you haven't taken acid or fire damage since the end of your last turn and so long as you start your turn with at least 1 hp.
Once you have used this ability once, you cannot use it again until the next dawn.

History

These rare amulets used to be more common when trolls outnumbered the more "civilized" of races, since then they have been rare and the costs are quite exorbitant as well as very difficult to find a working recipe.

Crafting Recipe:

Materials:

• Troll Heart
• Flawless & Shaped Bloodstone or Fire Opal
• Platinum
• Gold
• Tar or Amber, Holy Water -- these must be clean, purified, and blessed.

Instructions:

The heart is preserved in Tar or Amber and then crystalized into a bloodstone using the spell Imprisonment (either as a scroll or known spell).
An intricate clockwork from the melted platinum and gold to encase the stone.

Artificer, Jeweler, Survival/Medicine (or some other taxidermist background)

1 Trolls heart, preserved in tar and a "Permanent" Gentle Repose applied
1 Flawless and shaped Fire Opal of a specific shade
additionally 4,000 for other ingredients such as metals and other reagants.
At least 2,000-5,000) to commission the things done that need to be done. (Jewelers, Alchemist, Tinkerer, etc.)
Takes 1 week for a rush job (and harder DCs) to 4 weeks for DCs better than those
