Empire of Adhotron

The Empire of Adhotron is on Kampos and is a loosely held nation which was under the Nation of Enond, but had long ago stopped being subjects of that nation. There were some battles, but word is that there was more politicking that ended the civil war. The capitol is Kegrove. Many of the Leonin nations across Kampos have a loose loyalty to Adhotron. Long ago, before the Great King they all were very loyal and many of the other settlements in Kampos at the time were also loyal to the Empire of Adhotron. After the fall of the King they took the opportunity to build their own nations, and the Emperor of Adhotron let them have their "freedom" as long as they swore loyalty to the Empire in times of need. This is why these nations are free to do what they want, and the Empire tends to not intrude. It's a complicated affair, but it comes down to a mix of loyalty and freedom. Many of the larger settlements and nations across Kampos pay a tax to the Empire, but it is never too exhorbitant. In return there is a sense of protection when larger threats may surface. Over the past few hundred years though there has not been any such threats and so more and more of these places have been not paying the taxes or making excuses on why. The Bronze Canyon is a major copper producing community that is part of Adhotron, and long ago helped build its treasury. Since then Adhotron has let the Bronze Canyon communities slowly wither away as they have not contributed much to the Empire in many decades.
