Contract for Keep Reconstruction and Management
CONTRACT FOR KEEP RECONSTRUCTION AND MANAGEMENT
This Contract (“Contract”) is made and entered into this Lowsun 21, 2023 KC by and between The Elder of the Skola Vale, (the “Elder”), and Lord Barlo “Smiles”, Lord Bastion “Bladesinger”, Lady SaS W.T. Rayce, Lady Shadow in the Snow, and Lady Calliope Galanodel, (the “Tenants”).
1. Premises
The Elder hereby grants the Tenants the right to rebuild and manage the keep located at River’s Edge of Kampos (the “Premises”) for the purposes of establishing a military presence and producing revenue in the area.
2. Term
The term of this Contract shall be with no formal ending beginning on Lowsun 21, 2023 KC and ending if either party terminates it, the Tenants act in any way contrary to the Vale, and all rights and property are returned to the Elder.
3. Taxes
In consideration for the right to use and manage the Premises, the Tenants shall pay the Elder taxes as she seems fit and necessary.
4. Rebuilding and Improvements
The Tenants shall be responsible for the costs of rebuilding and improvements to the Premises. All rebuilding and improvements shall be subject to the approval of the Elder and must comply with all local laws and regulations.
5. Military Presence and Revenue Production
The Tenants shall establish a military presence and produce revenue in the area in accordance with the Elder’s guidelines. The Elder reserves the right to approve any plans related to the establishment of a military presence and revenue production.
6. Maintenance and Repairs
The Tenants shall be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Premises during the term of this Contract. The Elder shall be responsible for any repairs necessary due to normal wear and tear.
7. Default
If the Tenants fail to comply with any term or condition of this Contract, the Elder may terminate this Contract and evict the Tenants from the Premises.
8. Governing Law
This Contract shall be governed by the laws of The Compact of Princes and the Skola Vale Compact, and any disputes arising under this Contract shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Skola Vale Compact.
9. Entire Agreement
This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the Elder and the Tenants and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between the parties. This Contract may not be amended or modified except in writing signed by both parties.
