Aurorum

Aurorum The following materials and substances are found on the Upper Planes and have proven useful in the eternal battle against the forces of evil.   Aurorum: This luminous steel gleams with varying hues of pink and indigo. An aurorum weapon, shield, or suit of armor that has been sundered can be reformed by bringing together its fragments (a full-round action). The broken pieces bond quickly and seamlessly, restoring the item to its previous state. The market price modifier for an aurorum weapon, shield, or suit of armor is +4,000 gp.   Aurorum has the same hit points per inch of thickness and hardness as regular steel.   Aururum/Aurorum Pieces meld back together and repair themselves, if broken. The object costs the price of the base item plus 2000 gp. If the item is somehow destroyed or sundered, it will reform in one full round. An item does not need to be entirely made of metal, as the magic of the material enacts it's will. Items that are disintegrated do not repair themselves in this way. Aurorum originally appeared in the Book of Exalted Deeds for 3rd edition. "The metal portions of items crafted with Aurorum have a pink or purple lustre. The metal is harvested from the outer planes where celestials dwell." --Grudum Hekkat, author of the Dwarven Guidebook to Metals. From <https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/edit/v0DVjzCRvZY6>
