Personal history
Jeanette was born to forest Gnomes in the forests around Lorin, but their hapiness was soon after dashed when a band of Gnolls came looking for slaves to trade in the south. Jeanette's parents were both killed and their Gnoll murderers would have eaten her too if not for Medwin Starkstone, a slave from another Gnome village, who claimed she was his daughter and insisted she be left unharmed if his captors wished for his cooperation.
The Starkstones were sold down the river to a Slaver trafficking in Kallibastor. Medwyn said they eventually earned their freedom, but Jeanette suspects they may have actually escaped.
Education
Jeanette has received some practical and technical training from Medwin and has self-taught from books and things, but formal education she has little of.
Employment
Jeanette is the apprentice clocksmith in Kallibastor, but she is also an amateur inventor. She has recently thought about opening up a depot for adventurers, hoping to sell some of her inventions.
