Creation of the universe by the fundamental forces of light and darkness, manifesting as the twin godesses Selûne (light) and Shar (Darkness).
Dheghom is a world of cultures designed to change, collapse, and grow over time. Borders are not fixed and immutable, kingdoms rise and fall, rulers die and are replaced, and entire cities can be leveled or rebuilt by magic. Dheghom is a world meant to change after every adventure; the work of the heroes is meant to challenge the existing order, in small and large scale.
Creation of the universe by the fundamental forces of light and darkness, manifesting as the twin godesses Selûne (light) and Shar (Darkness).
Selûne and Shar, in their ongoing struggle against each other, fracture the universe into the great realms: The Afterlife/Shadow Realm. The Mortal Realm including Dheghom. The Fey Wild as plane surrounding the Mortal Realm. The Dreamland as part of the Mortal Realm. The Immortal Realm of the Gods.
The Mortal Realm, including Dheghom, manifest their physical form. The Elder Races roam the world. From that time, only the Aklo language remains.
The First War of the Gods results in the devastation of the Old World. The conflict of great divine power sees most of the Mortal Realms in ruins and the gods severely weakened.
The Old Races like elves and dwarves roam Dheghom. The connection between Mortal Realm and Fey Wild is strong. Dheghom's shape is very close to today's.

As punishment for their doings, the Draconic Hell Realm is separated into six circles, each given to the New Gods, Demons, Fiends, and the lowest circle to the Draconic Gods. The Dragonslayers, dead or alive, are lifted from the Afterlife or Mortal Realm into celestial status. To maintain a mostly peaceful balance in the world, the leaders of the New Gods get their own realms in Dheghom to look over. Wotan and his followers become the Norse Gods, ruling over Gladsheimr and Niflheim. Keranos creates the pantheon of Theros, ruling over the mountain Olympion and the Hades. Re-Horakhty, leader of the pantheon of Osirion, rules over Aaru and Duat. Coatikul of Serponos looks over Tlaloc and Mictlan.
This calendar was created by the Council of Sapavia, the oldest and most renowned university in all of Dheghom. The international character of the council gave it the legitimacy to create a calendar that is, today, used in most parts of the world and has replaced a previous system of fragmented local systems. The Sapavian Calendar was created in 13 AD and sets the year at zero, when Raja, the last Dragonlord, fled into exile and, therefore, ended the Era of Dragons

However, this lead to an increased limitation in the medling of celestials in mortal affairs. Still, many Éteros still find a way around this and manifest in Dheghom or send their avatars.
