Revolution

A revolution began that led to all our war. The war ends with the splintering of civilization into three nation-continents: Shylo, Rothep, Genzia. No further history information for Genzia/Rothep is available to the inhabits of Shylo.

A revolution began between Desten's governing faction and dissidents who wanted a non-magical King.   The magical-ruler-only party, led by Desten, easily overpowered the rebellion, forcing them to die or flee. Many historians consider it a cultural cleansing, as Desten was brutish during the war, requiring every adult to pick a side. This political facism caused a third faction to form consistenting of mainly pacifists (well before their time).   The rebellion ultimately fled to Rothep in what little ships they had. Desten's then turned his attention to the pacifists, acussing them of complicity. The pacifist party opted to flee as well, most of them heading toward Genzia in the hopes of starting something new there.   The war ends with the three factions forming new nations: Shylo (Desten), Rothep (non-magical), Genzia (pacifists) - as Desten's advisers strongly suggested that pursuing either faction across the sea would lead to poverty, resource shortage, and likely more splinter factions.   Important note: This is the last known information of the citizens of Rothep and Genzia. No further contact or history information for them is available to the inhabits of Shylo.
