Sarah Levine-Griffin

Sarah Levine-Griffin (neé Levine, born 8/7/442) is a Devonian Conservative politician and current Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives.

Career

First elected in a by election in 483, Levine-Griffin became a whip following the 485 election, eventually becoming chief whip following the 490 election. She was elected deputy leader in 494.

Policies

Generally seen as something of a social conservative, Levine-Griffin is seen by the right of the party as a “more conservative influence” on leader Adam Walsh, who is seen as more socially liberal. This is thought to have been large part of the reason for her winning the deputy leadership. She has said that had she been in the house in 480 she would have voted against legalising same sex marriage, and she has supported bills to ban prostitution and pornography.

Personal Life

Married to Lee Griffin since 479, she has never had children. In an interview in 495 she said that she is “probably infertile, but a doctor has never outright told me that”. She was accused of hypocrisy regarding her anti-pornography stance in 492 when it was revealed that her credit card had been used to buy pornographic magazines. She never commented on the incident.
