Incendari
Incendari are individuals with a lineage that includes some form of fire elemental. Similar to the lemegeton and dulaagi, they are often met with fear and suspicion compared to other immortal-blooded races. As a result, the few Incendari settlements that exist are located deep within deserts or volcanic regions that are generally inhospitable to most other races.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Like their elemental predecessors, Incendari vary greatly in appearance. They often have pointed ears, red or mottled horns on their foreheads, and hair that appears to flicker and wave as if it were on fire. In addition, some Incendari have skin that is the color of polished brass, or they may have charcoal-colored scales on their arms and legs. In terms of fashion, Incendari tend to wear ostentatious and revealing clothing in bright shades of orange and red, often adorned with extravagant jewelry.
Genetics and Reproduction
Like other immortal-blood races, an incendari retains the genetic characteristics of its original race when it reproduces. For example, if an Incendari was originally an elf and mates with a human, their offspring will be half-elves. There is no evidence that incendari have a higher chance of producing incendari offspring themselves.
Ecology and Habitats
Due to the Incendari's unique physiology, their habitat consists of regions with extremely high temperatures, such as volcanic regions and deserts. Their immunity to heat-related ailments allows them to thrive in these conditions. The Incendari can be encountered not only in scorching environments but also in regions abundant with geothermal activity, such as areas featuring geysers or hot springs. They may even have developed ways to harness this energy for their own purposes. Given their immunity to mundane fires, the Incendari may also make their homes in areas prone to wildfires.
Behaviour
Incendari are beings born of the union of immortal fire elementals and mortal blood. They embody a duality that shapes their lives, displaying the capricious and unpredictable nature of fire. Incendari tend to live in the present, indulging in impulses and flights of fancy while living life to the fullest. Though not all are reckless, most are volatile and unpredictable.
The fiery and impulsive nature of Incendari makes them well suited to a life of adventure. Even those who attempt to settle in larger societies often find it difficult to stay in one place or profession for long. Because of their difficulty fitting into most societies, many Incendari turn to adventuring to satisfy their wanderlust. Though they tend to be loners, they can form close bonds with select traveling companions.
For Incendari adventurers, material wealth is not enough. They seek to experience all aspects of the world and indulge in its pleasures, both physical and otherwise. However, the desire for fame, power, and glory always burns within them. Incendari pride and arrogance often drive them to excel in any endeavor, sometimes at the expense of personal relationships and alliances.
Incendari tend to favor professions that match their passionate and fiery nature as well as their racial abilities. They excel as fighters, rogues, and spellcasters, while the rare Incendari cleric may worship deities associated with fire.

The bloodline of fire elementals has spread wide and thin over the entire planet. Incendari transformations are rare, but can occur anywhere.
