Advance elements of the 3rd legion, having overrun the hasty barricades and roadblocks of the planetary defence forces, are met in open battle by a force of white scars, sallying forth from the space port.
  Focussing initially on the transports at the head of the column, the white scars manage to halt the progress of the traitors forces.
  Surrounded on both sides by substanial minefields and barricades, the 5th legion strike units are not afforded the degree of mobility they would normally enjoy and a pitched battle leaves both sides bloodied and reeling.
  The transitway is littered with the wrecks of loyalist light armour and traitor transports, white and purple bodies in power armour litter the culverts and rockcrete a both sides retire
