37th Infiltration Cadre

Hailing from the Krennath System Centurion Kilthax is charismatic but imposing. He was gifted with a genetic that when mixed with the Alpha Legion gene seed caused a greater degree of growth than expected. As such Kilthax stands noticeably taller than his fellow marines. Due to his physical stature he has benefited from the doctrines employed by the Alpha Legion, acting as stand in for their Primarch, able to assume the demeanour of multiple figures. It has been rumoured that he has worn the plate of others too.
He will often assume the role of overall commander in theatre, even where rank dictates otherwise. To excel at this role he has adopted the Vigilator Consul and is always supported by a Saboteur and often Champion, to ensure distraction and destruction of the enemy. This triad of leaders allows for plans to be changed mid battle, ambushes to be countered, and blockades to be circumvented.
Kilthax leads the 37th Infiltration Cadre, one of many tasked with inserting marines within other legions. These forces rarely assemble en masse as they have been scattered amongst the other legions and fleets. This doctrine allows the Alpha Legion to gather vast amounts of data from its allies and enemies. As such when gathered the 37th appears to be more a coalition of Legions rather than a single entity. The appearance of the so called Shattered Legions and Black Shields has only provided the XX Legion with more masks to wear. Untold millions have fallen due to intel gathered. Permitting actions to be taken in the knowledge that the focus is in the wrong place. Systems have been scoured for secret bases by their foes only to discover the enemy was long gone, or in some cases traps have been triggered, swallowing scores of warriors. Much time and life has been lost by the actions of the 37th.
Kilthax may have a bigger target on his head than most, for he knows whom will take the Semita system, and his enemies suspect…..

After Action Reports, Semita IV Operations.

After action report: Assault of Installation Delta Losses: 10 Legionnaires Result: Defences Operational but at Limited Effectiveness Notes: Whilst suffering loses Kilthax was able to neutralise Claudius Diamentarus. Body not recovered amongst dead, possibly retrieved by retreating loyalists. Interred brother Gallax seemed to be suffering from issues with targeting equipment. Information Gathered: Detailed notes of Ultramarine doctrine, including new defensive formations.
After Action Report: Assault on the Hanged Man’s Spaceport Losses: Brother Gallax, 5 Legionnaires Result: Spaceport Operational Notes: Brother Gallax perished after a series of malfunctions.
Information Gathered: The Chameleon noted new tactics employed by the Salamanders. Armour upgrades lead to reduced effectiveness of Plasma weaponry.
