Claudius Diamentarus
Librarian and Strategist of Guilliman's Gate
After the treachery at Calth, the once-mighty Ultramarines found themselves fractured, their forces scattered across the galaxy. In the wake of this devastation, small bands of warriors entrenched themselves in strategic strongpoints, clinging to the hope of vengeance. Among these was Claudius Diamentarus, a Librarian of the Gilded Gate. Tasked with safeguarding the routes to Terra, Diamentarus sought to prevent the traitor legions from reaching the throne world via the warp.
However, the grim news of Calth's assault reached him too late. He mustered his remaining forces and led a desperate counterattack. Upon his arrival, the battlefield was strewn with the fallen, but not all hope was lost. Diamentarus discovered a handful of survivors—a broken contingent of Ultramarines and a few noble knights from House Vornher, their banners sullied by the blood of betrayal.
These warriors swore a dark and resolute oath, vowing revenge on all who had forsaken the Imperium. Among them, the knight piloting the ancient war machine known as the Harbinger of Damnation raised his voice in defiance.
“Fear not the guns of their Titans, nor the death they promise! We are the Scions of Luhnborg, and though we may fall this day, our enemies will forever be stained by treachery. They are doomed to be forgotten, while our courage and honor will see our names echo through millennia!”
Thus inspired, Diamentarus rallied the remnants of his forces, setting forth on a relentless crusade. For years, they hunted traitors across the stars, bringing swift and bloody retribution to the enemies of the Emperor. Victory followed victory, yet even in triumph, the shadows of the Heresy loomed ever larger.
One day, as their hunt reached a fevered pitch, a message crackled through the vox network:
“Static… Semita… four… Repeat… requesting… Semita Four…”
